You've used Facebook and Myspace right? Of course you have, the sites are huge and are used by thousands and thousands of people every day. Because of this they are wonderful advertising mediums and make millions this way. Imagine if they gave back a fraction of these profits to their members? Enter Yuwie.
The site itself is a relatively simple social network but with 2 important differences. The first is simply that the site is relatively young and users, many educated and weaned on MySpace, Facebook and others bring knowledge and opinions of the best aspects of social networking to Yuwie which can only be a good thing. The second point is the revenue sharing system. The exact amount that you as a user can earn is based on a fairly complex formula but the basic premise is that you will be paid more for more activity.
Yuwie earnings (called "Your Cut" on the site) is calculated by this formula;
RSR is the amount of Yuwie's monthly revenue that it shares with each member, every member gets the same and this is based on Yuwie's total revenue for the month. Page views are defined as how many times that a specific member's profile, blog, pictures, layout, shoutbox (a blank section for putting in basically anything you like short of PPC advertising), club posts etc have been viewed, it is proportional to the number of friends you have and your activity.
Level % is a fixed value for each level, it is 10% for you, then for your referral levels 1-10 it is respectively --> 10%, 10%, 4%, 4%, 4%, 4%, 4%, 10%, 10%, 30%. (Note that for the same values of page views your level 10 referrals will give 3 times as much cash as your own views & levels 1, 2, 8 and 9 & over 7 times more than levels 3-7!!).
With these numbers in mind there are 5 things that Yuwie members need to do:
Page views are granted to users for taking almost any kind of action on Yuwie with the basic idea that the more active you are and more friends you have, the more page views you will get. Again I give my new referrals tips on how to be successfully active on Yuwie.
Using the formula mentioned above with an RSR of $0.50 and 1000 page views per referral, a user can earn over $10 000 a month with just 3 referrals (who earn 3 more, who earn 3 more etc.) 1000 page views per referral might be a little ambitious (though I managed over 2500 in my first few weeks) but 3 referrals really isn't and the RSR can sometimes be higher than $0.50.
